| Cowgirls Complete Perfect Home Slate |

Abilene, TX - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team capped a perfect home slate with a 6-0 win over crosstown rival McMurry, Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at the HSU Soccer Complex.
HSU totally dominated the game outshooting McMurry 31-1, including 22-1 on goal. HSU had 13 corner kicks to none for McMurry. Christi Carr got the shutout in goal.
The Cowgirls got on the board early when Laura Newbrough scored on an assist from Jordan Morley at the 6:52 mark. Morley was on the shooting end of the next goal as she scored off a Julie Woolverton assist on a breakaway at the 15:35 mark. HSU led 2-0 at halftime, scoring both goals into the 25-35 mile per hour wind.
In the second half Newbrough scored again and Allison Ray, Woolverton and senior Jessica Flobeck all scored goals.
Newbrough, Flobeck, Beth Craig and Regan Cappella each played their final regular season home game for HSU.
HSU has a 92 match unbeaten streak in conference play and have won 13 straight games on the year. HSU is 15-1 overall and 11-0 in ASC play. McMurry fell to 0-12-1 and 0-10-1 in league play. HSU closes out the regular season next weekend at Howard Payne and Mary Hardin-Baylor.
