| Cowgirls Move To 4-0 in League Play |

Longview, Tx - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team increased its American Southwest Conference unbeaten streak to 86 games with a 7-0 blanking of LeTourneau, Saturday afternoon in Longivew.
The Cowgirls totally dominated the Lady Jackets, out shooting them 40-1 in the game and 23-1 on-goal.
Freshman Sarah Stansell scored the Cowgirls first goal in the fifth minute on an assist from Jordan Morley. Morley then scored the next goal at the 9:00 mark making it 2-0. Laura Newbrough added a goal at 11:08 with a header on a corner kick from Becca Gault.
Morgan Loyd made it 4-0 with an assist from Lindsay Cogburn. Morley scored her second goal and fourth of the weekend with a free kick in the 53rd minute. Loyd scored again from Gault in the 65th minute and freshman Julie Woolverton scored from Cogburn in the 86th minute.
Christi Carr and Alyssa Derrick split the game in goal for the Cowgirls. HSU improved to 7-1 on the year and 4-0 in ASC play. LeTourneau fell to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in league play. HSU hosts ACU on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
