Marshall, Tx - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team remained undefeated in American Southwest Conference play with a 3-1 win over East Texas Baptist in Marshall on Friday afternoon.

Morgan Loyd scored the first goal to give the Cowgirls the lead in the seventh minute of the game. Becca Gault had the assist on the goal. Jordan Morley made it 2-0 in the 50th minute when she scored off a Lindsay Cogburn assist. The same combination hooked up again for a goal in the 55th minute. ETBU scored their only goal in the 84th minute by Brittany Rosales.

The Cowgirls are now 6-1 overall and 3-0 in league play. ETBU fell to 0-6-2 and 0-3 in conference action. HSU plays at LeTourneau on Saturday.
