| Cowgirls Pitch Third Straight Shutout |

Abilene, Tx - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team extended its American Southwest Conference unbeaten streak to 85 games with a 6-0 win over Schreiner, Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex.
Sarah Stansell scored in the second minute to give the Cowgirls an early lead in a game they dominated from the outset. HSU out shot Schreiner 35-1 in the game.
Lindsay Cogburn scored in the 10th minute and it remained that way though halftime. HSU scored four goals in the second half. Laura Newbrough scored her first of the season in the 57th minute.
Jordan Morley, Erin Low and Julie Woolverton added goals. Christi Carr pitched her third straight shutout in goal.
HSU is now 5-1 overall and 2-0 in league play. Schreiner fell to 1-2-1 and 0-2-1.
