Marshall, Tx - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer had its 33-game regular season unbeaten streak halted with a 2-0 loss to Rhodes on Friday night in the SCAC/ASC Challenge at East Texas Baptist in Marshall.
The Cowgirls controlled most of the game, but could not find the net. HSU outshot the Lynx 17-6 and had 10 corners to Rhodes' 4.
Caroline Voelkel scored in the first half and Colleen Callaghan scored in the second half for Rhodes.
HSU is 2-1 on the year and will play Austin College on Saturday at 4 p.m.
