Abilene, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team completed its second straight American Southwest Conference season with an unbeaten record as it blanked cross-town rival McMurry, 12-0, Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex.

Marissa Wichkoski scored the first Cowgirl goal in the 20th minute and Stefanie Patterson added another five minutes later. Beth Craig scored her 10th of the year and Jensen added another in the 44th minute to make it 4-0 at halftime.

Whitney Piendak scored two goals in the second half and Patterson added a pair in the second frame. Laura Newbrough, Mindi Zamora, Wichkoski and Jessica Flobeck all added single tallies in the second half.

HSU improved to 17-1 on the year and 13-0 in ASC play. McMurry closed its season at 2-13-1 and 2-10-1 in ASC play.

The Cowgirls will host the ASC Tournament next weekend at the HSU Soccer Complex.
