MARSHALL, TEXAS - Whitney Piendak scored a pair of goals and Stefaine Patterson had her third goal of the weekend as the Cowgirls routed East Texas Baptist 5-0 in Marshall.

Patterson scored in the 17th minute on a Morgan Loyd assist and Piendak scored in the 39th and 56th minutes. Mindi Zamora scored in the 61st minute. Patterson had the assist on Zamora's goal and Piendak's second goal.

Loyd scored on a penalty kick in the 66th minute. April Johnson played the first 78 minutes in goal and Ashley Jackson finished it up. The Cowgirls out shot ETBU 33-3 in the game.

HSU is now 8-1 on the year and 6-0 in ASC play.
