| Cowgirls Win Sixth Straight |

LONGVIEW, TEXAS - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team moved its winning streak to six games with a 6-1 pounding of LeTourneau, Friday afternoon in Longview.
Stefanie Patterson scored her first of two goal in the 12th minute on an assist from Mindi Zamora. LeTourneau tied the game at 1-1 in the 17th minute when Erica Crim snuck in a goal. Beth Craig scored three minutes later from Jessica Flobeck to give the Cowgirls the lead for good.
Jacky Cox came off the bench to score in the 34th minute from Regan Cappella. Whitney Piendak scored from Kelsey Jensen in the 39th minute to make it 4-1.
Patterson and Flobeck had goals in the second half for the Cowgirls.
April Johnson and Ashley Jackson split halves in goal for the Cowgirls. HSU is 8-1 on the year and 5-0 in ASC play. LeTourneau fell to 4-6 and 2-2. HSU plays at East Texas Baptist at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
