| Cowgirls Win With Four in Second Half |

BELTON, TEXAS - Hardin-Simmons' women's soccer team came out strong in the second half with four goals in a 4-0 in American Southwest Conference Soccer action, Saturday afternoon in Belton.
The Cowgirls broke open a scoreless games with four goals in the second half. Laura Newbrough scored the first goal in the 54th minute off an assist from Beth Craig.
Craig scored from Whitney Piendak in the 58th minute and Stefanie Patterson and Alison Baker had unassisted goals in the 68th and 80th minutes.
April Johnson and Ashley Jackson played in goal for the Cowgirls, who moved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the ASC. UMHB fell to 1-5 on the year and 1-1 in league play.
