ABILENE, TEXAS - Hardin-Simmons' seventh-ranked women's soccer team won its second 2-1 game in as many days as they defeated Carthage, Friday evening at Shelton Stadium in Abilene.

The Lady Reds got on the board early when Keeley Monckton scored from in front of the net in the 14th minute.

Whitney Piendak tied the game in the 37th minute on a double assist from Elaine Pallarez and the Cowgirls won the game in the 84th minute when Kala Chalman's cross went to Piendak who sent it to Rebecca Neal for the game winner.
